Can I use Dota 2 cheat codes in ranked matchmaking?
Guide Q&ANo. Valve-approved console commands such as -gold, -refresh, and -allvision are for custom lobbies where the host enables cheats. They do not carry into ranked matchmaking or Turbo.
Use a practice lobby to learn hero combos, item timings, and ward positions. The guide also explains the difference between those built-in practice commands and third-party tools.

From the source articleCorrect: create a lobby, enable cheats in lobby settings, and make sure the console is enabled in Advanced Options.
The guide lists -refresh, -wtf, and vision commands for drills. Remember -disablewtf before testing real cooldowns.
Useful distinction. Practice lobby commands are not ranked features.
